Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Popeyes Tech Dispatch (“Popeyes Tech Dispatch,” “the app,” “we,” “us”) - the registered brand name used for this application and for the text message (SMS) notifications it sends. It describes how Popeyes Tech Dispatch handles information for the dispatchers, staff, and contractors who use it. This app is an internal tool used to create, assign, and track service work orders - it is not a public consumer product.

Information we collect

For contractors and staff who use the app, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and company name provided when an account or contractor record is set up, along with the work order, checklist, photo, and invoice information generated while using the app.

How we use it

Contact information is used to operate the dispatch process itself: assigning work orders, sending status notifications, and coordinating checkout/quality-control steps. This includes text message (SMS) notifications sent to a contractor’s phone number when a work order is assigned to them.

Text messaging & how consent is collected

Popeyes Tech Dispatch only sends work order assignment texts to a contractor after they’ve affirmatively opted in. Consent is captured through a checkbox on that contractor’s account in our internal admin system (“Contractor has agreed to receive text (SMS) work order assignment notifications”), checked by a dispatcher on the contractor’s behalf when the contractor agrees, and the date/time it was checked is recorded. No texts are sent to a phone number until that box has been checked, and unchecking it immediately stops future texts.

If you receive a text from us, it’s because your phone number is on file with consent recorded this way. Message frequency varies with how many work orders are assigned to you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or contact us using the information below and we’ll uncheck it for you.

Mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are only used for the operational work order notifications described above, and are shared only with the messaging provider (Twilio) strictly to deliver those messages.

Data retention & sharing

Information is retained for as long as it’s needed for active and historical work order records. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it outside the companies directly involved in fulfilling a work order (e.g. the assigned contractor, the relevant store/site contacts) except as needed to operate the service (e.g. our hosting provider, our messaging provider).
